Product details
Automatic Drain Valve - 240V 50Hz
Introducing the RS automatic and fully programmable drain valves that are designed to provide automatic draining of filter bowls, separators, receivers and other components. The automatic drain is effective at removing condensate and contaminants. The interval time for draining or discharge can be pre-set to meet the requirements of your pneumatic installation.
Features and Benefits:
Precise self-activated control of fluids and air to a specified programme (media: air, gases, water, oil etc.)
Automatically opens for a set time to drain condensation
Length of time open (0.5 to 45 minutes) and frequency both adjustable
Discharge time 0.5 to 10 seconds
Minimal risk of internal blockages due to increased internal tolerances
LED indicator for operational status
Test facility for manual override
IP65 timer and solenoid protection, including the connector
Timer/Solenoid -20 to +40 : Valve Ambient -10 to +50 : Valve Fluid -10 to +80 °C
3 years warranty
Typical Applications:
A drain valve is an integral and one of the most important parts of the compressed air system. A condensate drain valve is responsible for removing condensate from the air system without losing excessive compressed air and without letting the system to shut down due to lack of pressure. Condensate is very harmful to air systems when not removed properly. Moisture can cause a series of problems e.g.
washing oils and greases from production equipment, machinery and tools resulting in repairs and downtime
inconsistent supplying of dry air causes production quality issues
excessive rust caused by humidity within the air system can form scale in the air distribution systems
Drain Valves are used in compressed air systems where liquid, gas, or slurries need to be drained from the system.
Warning
We do not advise contact with corrosive material
