Product Details
RS PRO range of quick Splice IDC wire splice connectors made from brass with a colour coded nylon insulation. These Quick Splices provide a simple and time saving wire connection method. The splice is simply placed over the existing wire, the additional wire inserted and the block crimped can then be crimped with pliers. These IDC Quick Splices are available for in-line and T-tap wire connections and accept various wire and tab sizes.

Is there a crimp tool that you can use for crimping connectors?
Any good quality ratchet style crimp tool or plier tool designed for crimping terminals would suffice. RS PRO offers a range of reliable, cost-effective tools. For crimp tools please see stock numbers 241-4710, 445-611, 534-806 and 445-885.
What is the difference between un-insulated and insulated crimp tools?
Un-insulated crimp tools are typically used for general applications, whereas the insulated crimp tools have been VDE tested up to 1000 V, designed for use where electrical current is present.
