Product details
RS Pro RS820 Infrared Thermometer (non-contact)
RS PRO RS820 is an easy-to-use IR thermometer (sometimes called laser thermometers or non-contact thermometers) for reading thermal radiation emitted from any given object where a probe is not appropriate. This allows precise temperature measurements, provides rapid detection with a dual laser and features a 12:1 spot ratio. An illuminated negative digital display provides clear readings. When reading surface temperature the non-contact thermometer has a large temperature range of -50 to 380°C with an accuracy ± 1% of the reading.
Infrared thermometers are an essential device for individuals who need to measure the temperatures of something without physically touching the item. This handheld temperature gun does not rely on physical contact with the object which is having its temperature taken but measures the radiated infrared energy emanating from that object. This enables temperature measurements to be made of items such as rotating machinery, busbars carrying electric current, or inaccessible objects which would be difficult or hazardous to touch.
RS PRO have a range of IR thermometers that are robust and versatile and will suit all your requirements. The whole range has been RS approved meaning they are cost-effective and high quality you can rely on.
Features and Benefits:
12:1 distance-to-spot ratio
Easy-to-use
User selectable °C or °F
Rapid detection 150ms
Automatic Data Hold
Auto Power Off (saves battery)
Size (H x W x D): 131 x 96 x 35 mm
Weight: 130 g
