RS PRO Hydraulic Hand Barrel Pumps

RS PRO hydraulic barrel pumps, designed for use with 40 gallon metal drums, which will pump up to Hypoid 90 viscosity. These hand pumps fearure nitrile rubber (NBR) seals which are resistant to oil, fuel, and other chemicals.

Barrel pumps (also known as drum pumps) are portable manual pumps designed to safely transfer fluids from barrels, drums or storage tanks.

These types of manual hand pumps are ideal to empty out liquids from big containers which are too heavy to tip up in a safe and effective manner.

Options include:
672-425 - Lever action hand pump incorporates 84 cm suction tube
672-419 - Rotary action hand pump incorporates 96 cm steel suction tube and comes with M24 x 4 mm retention adaptor

Features and Benefits:

672-419
Pump housing cast iron
Plastic
Easy to operate hand-rotating operation
For oils, up to SAE 90, self-lubricating, non-aggressive media, fuel oil, diesel, petroleum
With suction filter

Dimensions: 350 x 160 x 120 (LxWxH) mm

672-425
This pump is suitable for use on 60 / 200 / 220 litre drums.
This model has a lever mechanism. The body is made of ABS/PA6, the suction hose is adjustable from 355 to 955mm.
The flow rate is 24 litres per minute. This model screws onto the 2" bung of the drum.
It is compatible with the following fluids: Oils, up to SAE 50, diesel, petroleum, kerosene, glycerin and antofreeze undiluted.
Dimensions: 820 x 155 x 115 (LxWxH) mm

Typical Applications:

Hydraulic hand pumps do not require power and are ideal on manufacturing and processing plants to empty out large barrels into smaller measuring vessels, storage can and canisters. Hydraulic hand pumps are available in a wide range of pump styles and flow rates with varying pressure options tailored to different applications.

FAQs

How Do Hydralic Hand Pumps Work?
Hydraulic hand pumps contain a reservoir of fluid that is typically activated by a lever. When the lever is pumped ’downward’ it generates pressure on the fluid which leads to it being displaced through the outlet. When the lever is pumped up it ’sucks in’ water from the inlet, resetting the reservoir for the next activation. Hydraulic hand pumps contain safeguard valves that prevent fluid being sucked back in through the outlet.
