Use this float switch from RS PRO to automatically determine liquid levels in tanks. As you can mount it externally, it's ideal for monitoring the levels of hazardous substances such as hydraulic oil or diesel.
The switch features a strong nylon housing which stands up well to bumps and knocks, making it highly durable. This plastic casing also stops the unit's inner electrical components from rusting to ensure a long working life. You don't need to buy a power cable for this switch as it's supplied with a 1 m conductor with a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) jacket for good insulation.
The compact design of this float makes it a good choice for small or constricted spaces so you can use it to monitor the oil levels in a gearbox, for example. It's also well-suited to diesel generators.
