Product details

CA8332B and CA8334B three-phase network analysers

Compact, impact-resistant electrical network analysers. They enable the user to obtain an instant snapshot of key network characteristics and to follow the variations over time.Ideal for verification and diagnostic measurements on single-phase, two-phase or three-phase low-voltage networks.Colour LCD screen for graphic display.3 display modes: observation, diagnostic, monitoring.

Achievable measurements:

Measure effective AC voltages up to 480 V (phase-neutral) or 960 V (phase-phase) for 2-conductor, 3-conductor or 4-conductor networks.Measure effective AC currents up to 6500 A eff.Measure frequency of 50 Hz, 60 Hz (40 Hz → 70 Hz) networks.Calculate neutral current by vector summing of phase currents for star configurations.Calculate peak factors for currents and voltages.Calculate K factor for currents (transformers).Calculate short-term flicker for voltages.Calculate phase imbalance for voltages and currents (three-phase networks only).Measure angles for harmonics and their rates (compared with fundamental value) for voltage, current orpower (C.A 8334B only) up to 50th order. Calculate global rates of harmonic distortion.Measure active, reactive and apparent power by phase or cumulatively.Calculate power factor, displacement factor and tangent.Obtain cumulative energy generated and received from time chosen by operator.Monitor the mean value of any parameter calculated over a period from 1 sec → 2 hrs. Values stored in the device memory for a limited time.Record, date and characterise disturbances: surges, dips and trips, exceeding of power and harmonic thresholds etc.Detect transients and record associated waveforms (C.A 8334B only).

Supplied with

QualistarView software, DB9F serial optical cable, 4 banana / banana voltage leads, length = 3 m, 4 crocodile clips, user guide, mains lead.

Standards

IEC 61010-1, 600 V Cat. IV.
