Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Clean and Strip Disc CG-RD, 115 mm x 22 mm
The Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Strip disc is a surface conditioning disc that combines a long lasting abrasive and the Roloc™ quick change out system. The non-woven disc uses silicon carbide mineral abrasive offering a continuous fast cutting action and consistency. The fibres use resin which will dissolve and break down over time, allowing them to stay strong and heat resistant. Suitable for removing paint and rust from seams, doors, moulding, welds and other tight areas.
Unique Construction
The unique construction of the Scotch-Brite™ disc is made up of non-woven fibres and silicon carbide abrasive making it tough and durable. The extra course (XCS) works to remove unwanted corrosion and blemishes from a variety of materials. It combines strands, resin and abrasive to form a thick open web.
Flexibility
The Scotch Brite™ surface conditioning disc allows for easy adaptation to a profiled surface. It has been designed to last longer than wire brushes and other abrasive discs. The abrasive standards continually break down which reveal fresh abrasive for consistency and superior cut performance.
Features and Benefits
Removes paint, rust and quickly without compromising the geometry of the workpiece
Load resistant material resists clogging for consistent cutting action
Smear resistant to minimise cleaning of the work surface
Extra coarse (XCS) grade silicon carbide provides aggressive cutting and leaves a fine finish without gouging the workpiece
Roloc™ attachment system provides easy disc change out for multi-step finishing processes
Typical Applications
