Weller W Range Electric Soldering Irons
Introducing the W Range Electric Soldering Irons from Weller. These irons are Magnastat soldering irons, a nonsense series that offer simple yet robust soldering experience. Within the range, there is an iron to suit most applications and available in both 120 V and 230 V configurations. There plenty of power too, 60W, 100W or 200W plus a cord length of 1.5 m.
Why would you buy this product?
The W range offers the perfect tool to complement any soldering station or tool kit. Upon inspection, you can feel the quality and the engineering excellence that has gone into the design. It is perfectly weighted, made from quality materials and simple to use.
What is the Magnastat System?
The Weller Magnastat system operates through a ferromagnetic sensing device which changes its characteristics when specific temperatures are reached. This causes it to either attract or repel a permanent magnet which operates a power supply switch.
Power to the heating element can be quickly switched on or off to either provide extra power for soldering operations or reduce power when idling.
What about tips?
The W range is supplied with a CT series soldering tip, tips can be changed to suit many soldering applications and tip temperatures will vary depending on the shape and size.
